Deloitte’s Corporate Tax M&A team are hiring a Senior Manager/Director who will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice and support on all tax aspects relating to M&A transactions (due diligence, structuring, legal document review). The role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure tax-efficient transaction structures and compliance with relevant tax regulations.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions.
  • Provide tax advice on transaction structuring, including tax implications, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Financial Due Diligence team and other tax teams) to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and their impact on M&A activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing training and support as needed.

About you:

  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in tax, with a focus on M&A transactions.
  • Proven experience in managing complex tax projects and transactions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
