WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:

  • CTA qualified with over two years post qualified experience (minimum criteria)
  • A tax background including both corporate tax compliance and advisory experience (minimum criteria)
  • At least 50% of time spent in most recent roles undertaking tax advisory work
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients and providing tax planning advice
  • Strong communication and report writing skills

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling own portfolio of clients, monitoring WIP and client costs
  • Planning jobs, instructing juniors and their reviewing work, ensuring constructive feedback is given at all times
  • Undertaking and supervising tax compliance and advisory work so that it requires final review only
  • Providing effective tax planning advice to clients, both direct to clients and through Audit and Accounts team portfolio managers throughout the firm
  • Displaying pro-active awareness of current relevant legislation, compliance standards and potential advantages, relating them to client situations
  • Assisting with proposals and presentations to potential client
