ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Corporate Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Tepa’s companywide compliance training strategy and related training programs intended to adhere to all local, state, and federal training needs and requirements, in addition to internal policy, procedural, behavioral, performance, or other training requests and initiatives. This role may also assist the Talent Management group or other leaders with specific trainings requested to improve employee engagement, promote employee growth, and drive organizational development.
Job Functions:
- Create, design, and develop comprehensive training programs that align with companywide compliance requirements and strategies.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and leadership to develop training content that meets local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Facilitate the delivery of training programs through various methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning environments.
- Incorporate innovative training techniques, models, tools, and technologies to improve and enhance learning and retention.
- Coordinate training schedules and logistics to ensure maximum participation and engagement.
- Work with HR and Talent Management leadership to manage internal and external resources to maximize cost effectiveness and quality of training programs.
- Research and evaluate vendor solutions for training needs and make recommendations for their use.
- Conduct regular evaluations of training programs and obtain feedback to assess effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Analyze training outcomes and feedback to continuously improve training interventions and ensure they meet organizational goals.
- Perform needs assessments to identify training gaps and areas for improvement.
- Proactively consult with leadership and subject-matter experts to determine training requirements and develop appropriate training solutions.
- Stay informed of all relevant local, state, and federal training requirements and ensure training programs comply with these standards.
- Update training materials and programs as necessary to reflect changes in regulations and company policies.
- Assist the Talent Management team and other leaders with specific training initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and promoting professional growth.
- Work with leadership and Talent Management to develop and implement training programs that support organizational development and drive performance improvement.
- Manage required training for all new hires and participate in other related aspects of the onboarding process.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company.
- Provide training services to all company worksites as necessary, which may require occasional travel.
- Partner with the SVP of Corporate Safety and Health on safety and site training requirements.
- Manage access to and maintenance of the corporate Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure the LMS is updated with current training materials and tracks employee progress and completions accurately.
- Generate reports on training metrics and outcomes for leadership and stakeholders to review.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in corporate training and development.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development to enhance training capabilities.
