Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Transactions Clerk to join our team. This role focuses on corporate reorganization transactions and corporate clerical support for commercial transactions. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in corporate transactions, we would love to hear from you.
- Collaborate with clients, lawyers, associated professionals such as accountants, and other team members to ensure smooth and successful transactions;
- Utilize advanced corporate management software to prepare and manage complex corporate transactions and corporate record-keeping;
- Maintain and manage reminder systems, closing agendas, minute books, files, and multiple communication technologies;
- Provide corporate clerical support for the purchase and sale of businesses, including professional corporations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Education: Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited college is strongly preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Corporate and/or Commercial Transactions Clerk
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in generic corporate management software and online corporate filings is essential. Experience with Appara corporation management software and Clio practice management applications is an asset

- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle a busy workload effectively
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, outgoing disposition
- Proficiency with office productivity applications such as word processing and email management; familiarity with spreadsheets is an asset
- High level of reliability, responsibility, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while also thriving as part of a collaborative team
