If so, consider this opportunity as a Correspondence Handling Clerk in the Advisory, Objections, Appeals and Services Branch, Tax Compliance and Benefits Division with the Ministry of Finance.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- You have knowledge of image/data capture processing systems, scanning technology and mathematical calculations
- You have knowledge of computers and software such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- You have keyboarding skills to accurately input data
- You have the ability to adapt to emerging technologies
- You have knowledge of records management operations and records retention procedures
ANALYTICAL, ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- You have analytical skills to identify issues, assess urgency of requests and escalate problems to management
- You have knowledge of batching/batch preparation, counting documents, accurately recording control sheets
- You have sound judgement to examine documents for threats and promptly follow established procedures
- You have organizational skills to deal with competing priorities in a high volume environment
- You have attention to detail to maintain integrity and protect the legal admissibility of images
- You have effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
You will:
- electronically capture paper documents into a digital imaging storage system
- provide reliable records management through accurate indexing of imaged documents
- control the routing, retention and disposal of documents
- maintain batch page counts and prepare statistical reports
Notes:
- This job is physically demanding and requires frequent lifting of boxes
- The successful candidate will be required to work any 7.25 hour shift between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
