Cost Accountant

We are offering an opportunity for a Cost Accountant in the heart of Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role is central to our operations, focusing on job costing, subcontracting, and various accounting projects. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of tasks, from managing Quickbooks and AIA systems to overseeing projects in industries such as plumbing, roofing.

• Manage and maintain the QuickBooks system for accurate financial records
• Oversee AIA documentation for subcontractor management
• Handle job costing activities to ensure accurate project budgeting
• Work closely with subcontractors across various projects
• Manage financial aspects of specific industries including plumbing, roofing, and paving
• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient project management
• Oversee ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial operations
• Create and maintain Crystal Reports for project tracking
• Use Epicor for enterprise resource planning
• Handle various accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and auditing
• Oversee budget processes and manage cash activity.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with Crystal Reports is a necessary skill
• Knowledge of Epicor software is crucial for this role
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is crucial
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is needed
• Skills in Auditing are necessary
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential
• Experience in handling Cash Activity is required
