Description:
WHAT’S THE JOB?
You’ll be joining an innovative, agile, international company, with plants in St-Jérôme (QC) & Shanghai (China) and still growing after 50 years. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work to help the company achieve its defined accounting and financial objectives.
You will play an operational role in the ongoing optimization of financial processes.
Here’s what you’ll be doing with your time to optimize financial and accounting processes:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and perform relevant analyses
- Coordinate month-end and year-end activities
- Reconcile and analyze monthly balance sheet accounts
- Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files
- Analyze capital expenditures and ensure compliance with budgets
- Carry out monthly budget follow-ups with managers
- Participate in budget preparation
- Prepare claims for government assistance
- Support inventory taking
- Be involved in all other tasks related to your role
