Description:
REGION NCE > CUSTOMER PROJECT EXECUTION > COST MANAGEMENT
The Customer Project Execution (CPX) organisation is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of wind farms to our customers. Close collaboration with customers and other stakeholders is essential to ensure these processes are completed safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will join the Cost Management team for the NCE Region, working on both Onshore and Offshore projects. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining construction cost standards and delivering high-quality project budgets to support sales and execution.
You’ll be part of a diverse, international team of 8 people, known for their positive attitude and business-focused approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in budgeting, cost modeling, and data analysis in a commercial or financial role
- Solid English communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with SQL and BI tools preferred
- Knowledge of the wind industry, construction, or complex infrastructure projects is beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support construction budgets for specific regions or project portfolios, detailing all project costs
- Collaborate with Bid and Project Management on cost-related matters during the Sales phase
- Initiate cost optimisation efforts and review key cost drivers with stakeholders
- Support new product development by reducing costs and ensuring value chain transparency
- Provide periodic training for Senior Managers and Project Managers to promote cost awareness and proper budgeting
- Improve cost estimation models, weather assessments, and processes for cost creation and cross-project benchmarking
