Description:

  1. Budget Management
    · Develop, manage, and update project budgets based on the Estimated Cost.
    · Ensure that the project remains within the allocated budget.
    · Identify cost variances and analyze their causes.
  2. Cost Estimation and Forecasting
    · Prepare detailed breakdown based on the cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.
    · Forecast project expenses to predict potential overruns or savings.
  3. Cost Monitoring
    · Track project expenditures against the budget.
    · Maintain records of all costs incurred during the project lifecycle.
    · Provide regular cost reports to project managers and Operations manager.
  4. Financial Reporting
    · Generate periodic cost reports, including variance analysis, cash flow, and profitability analysis.
    · Present financial insights and recommendations to management.
  5. Change Management
    · Assess the financial impact of project changes, including scope changes, design modifications, and unforeseen issues.
    · Provide cost implications for change orders and variations.
  6. Risk Management
    · Identify potential financial risks in the project.
    · Develop mitigation strategies for cost-related risks.
  7. Procurement Support
    · Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor bids and contracts for cost efficiency.
    · Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints during procurement.
  8. Cost Control Tools and Systems
    · Implement and maintain cost control systems and software.
    · Train project staff on cost management tools.
  9. Coordination with Other Staff
    · Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and financial teams.
    · Provide cost-related advice to assist in decision-making.
  10. Compliance and Documentation
    · Ensure that all project costs adhere to company policies and industry standards.
    · Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions and project documentation.
    11.Skills and Qualifications
    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    · Proficiency in cost control software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, SAP and MS Office).
    · Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
    · Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    · Should be Engineering graduate from reputed university.
