Nuclear & Infrastructure – Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market!
Vacancy Details
In the Cost Engineer position you will support and assist the Quantity Surveying department, to ensure that the cost and value aspects of projects are properly controlled, managed, and reported.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for cost analysis, cost controls, and the reporting of activities for both capital and non-capital projects, and providing recommendations based on this. You will organise and monitor project costs in accordance with contractual requirements, and accurately report on final project forecasting.
You will also need to participate in the negotiation of project contracts as required.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5-years’ experience as a cost engineer, ideally in an automotive, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
