JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

At The Coca-Cola Company, recognized worldwide for leadership in the beverage industry, we’re looking for a Financial Analyst based in Mexico Concentrate Plant located north of CDMX in Azcapotzalco.
Join our finance team. We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in managing new product and reformulation costing processes, performing forecast and cost simulations, and ensuring accuracy in material cost variations.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A degree in Public Accounting or Finance (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English (at least 85%).
  • Strong evaluation and diagnostic skills in cost/benefit analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing materials cost variations: Determine quarterly actual costs for all products involved in the 50-50 Business Model and identify major impact factors.
  • Calculating new products and reformulation costs: Update costs in the SAP system according to the Standard Cost and ensure correct authorizations for CPS México.
  • Providing cost breakdowns: Deliver detailed cost information to the OU technical department for actual BBN’s.
  • Participating in new product meetings: Collaborate weekly with local and Latin America teams to keep all projects updated and create new kits in SAP.
  • Validating and reporting usage variances: Validate weekly usage variance information and send reports for main production order variances to manufacturing.
  • Managing usage variance month-end close: Ensure all variances are correct, documented, and reviewed by manufacturing supervisors.
  • Preparing Usage Rolling Estimates Collaborate with the Production Manager to validate forecasts based on volume and manufacturing mix.
  • Assigning intercompany price conditions: Handle requests to perform material transfers.
  • Supporting CPS LA Finance Team: Assist in various functions, including RFA coordination.
