Description:
JASARA PMC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring that budgets are adhered to while maximizing profitability. You will collaborate with various project stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates and maintain comprehensive financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost management, preferably in the construction or project management industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including a breakdown of materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor project expenses and perform regular cost analysis to identify variances and trends.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, adjusting forecasts as necessary to stay within budget limits.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure proper financial controls are in place.
- Prepare and present cost reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
