OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

RLB’s Cost Management division in Europe is expanding and as such, we are excited to be recruiting a Cost Manager to join and strengthen our team in Berlin.
The role presents a brilliant opportunity to work on local Data Centre projects for Hyperscale Data Centre Developers who already have a very impressive project portfolio across multiple sites. We are looking for candidates with some proven cost management / quantity surveying experience for this position.
The position offers a platform to develop professionally and opportunities to progress while working alongside a diverse and impressive team on exciting projects for a variety of clients, as well as a chance to truly shape the future of RLB’s European business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related technical discipline.
• Some proven experience in a similar cost management / quantity surveying role.
• Previously employed by a consultancy or contractor in a similar role.
• Proven experience in delivering Data Centre projects.
• Pre & Post Contract experience preferred.
• Desire to attain RICS chartership.
• A track record of working with teams and managing projects / packages by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
• Ability to deliver to clients, building rapport & ability to be client facing
