QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company independently managing product costing.
- Experience in standard costing, analysis of variance and taking corrective measures.
- Experience in preparing financial budget, forecast etc.
- Experience of working in well-established global multinationals with matrix reporting structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
- Good communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
Responsibilities:
We seek a skilled and motivated individual to join our Finance team in Singapore on a 6-month contract . This person will report to the Group Accounting & Reporting Director and will support the Financial Controllers of Thailand and Hungary as well.
Costing
- Main focus of this role is to provide accurate and timely product costing for quotations and commercial decisions
Financial Control
- Analyze purchasing and manufacturing variances for the Hungary and Thailand plants, eg purchase price variance, material usage variance, etc.
- Assist Financial Controllers to prepare monthly financial reports
- Review standard costs for accuracy
- Conduct periodic cost rolls
- Develop annual labour and overhead rates
Budgetary/Forecast
- Assist Financial Controllers to prepare budget and forecast
- Review cost and capex spending and recommend corrective measures
