Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Costs and Charges Analyst to join our Costs and Charges Oversight Team responsible for ensuring the accurate reporting of performance figures and costs incurred by funds.
This role requires a highly detail-oriented, control-focused individual with the ability to manage complex datasets, identify process improvements, and support the team in meeting critical regulatory reporting requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your advanced analytical and reporting skills to ensure high standards of compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Performing assigned periodic processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and policies
- Gathering, identifying, and documenting data from multiple sources to ensure the correct information is collected and a clear audit trail remains
- Ensuring the ongoing quality and accuracy of reporting
- Supporting existing production processes and looking for ways to improve productivity
- Monitoring and maintaining process documentation, ensuring all procedures are up-to-date and fully aligned with operational policies and compliance requirements
- Working with relevant business teams to deliver accurate reporting and investigating and resolving exceptions
- Providing support to change management project teams to enable delivery of value-add solutions
- Investigating and resolving reporting exceptions, ensuring issues are thoroughly understood and addressed to prevent reoccurrence
- Building and developing regulatory and industry knowledge
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Self-starter who is able to manage time, prioritise work, and pay attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills – including Microsoft Excel
- Experience with managing large amounts of data would be an advantage
- Ability to follow procedures, identify problems and follow up on resolution
- Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English.
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Experience in the financial services industry would be an advantage
