Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Costs and Charges Senior Oversight Analyst to sit in the Costs and Charges Oversight Team, which is a centralised, dedicated team responsible for ensuring the accurate reporting of performance figures and costs incurred by funds, while maintaining compliance with various financial regulations. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting.
This role requires a highly detail-oriented, control-focused individual with the ability to manage complex datasets, identify process improvements, and support the team in meeting critical regulatory reporting requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your advanced analytical and reporting skills to ensure high standards of compliance and reporting accuracy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing and managing the Costs and Charges reporting processes to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of regulatory reports
- Ensuring rigorous oversight of data accuracy in all reports, implementing checks and balances to maintain high-quality outputs
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to optimise reporting processes, identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency
- Working closely with IT and data teams to enhance reporting tools, developing automation capabilities, and streamlining data management systems
- Supporting change management initiatives, working with relevant project teams to deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvements to reporting processes
- Monitoring and maintaining process documentation, ensuring all procedures are up-to-date and fully aligned with operational policies and compliance requirements
- Investigating and resolving reporting exceptions, ensuring issues are thoroughly understood and addressed to prevent reoccurrence
- Mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise to foster knowledge development within the team
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong time management skills and a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing large data sets is advantageous
- Ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and drive resolution
- Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
