Temporary position (1 year)

YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- D.E.C. or specialized diploma in project or production management;
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar field;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent team spirit and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving and risk management skills in project mode;
- Strong planning and time management skills;
- Technical knowledge of costumes (an asset);
- Willingness to work non-standard hours;
- Technical interest in costume making;
- Interest in material transformation;
- A creative flair that likes to challenge the status quo and navigate change;
- Fluency in both English and French;
- Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in the realization and follow-up of costume design project deliverables;
- Oversee the realization of the work plan established by the Project Manager and coordinate the interactions required between the artisans and the operations management team to meet established objectives;
- Implement communication mechanisms to ensure that all workshop and project stakeholders are informed of project issues, parameters and progress;
- Coordinate the procurement of project-specific materials.
- Monitor project progress and issues with the project manager and operations teams;
- Plan the fitting schedule and ensure availability of all items in cooperation with the various departments involved;
- Coordinate acrobatic validations and ensure availability of all necessary costumes/items.
- Facilitate the transfer of information between the production team and the costume team;
- Act as liaison with external partners,
- Produce customs descriptions, prepare shipping requests, coordinate shipping and receiving of costumes and equipment;
- If necessary, coordinate relocation activity, temporary workshop set-up and production site logistics;
- Facilitate the transfer of the project from production mode to operation mode.
