Counsel Attorney

We are in search of a Counsel Attorney to work in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be involved in the legal industry, handling various responsibilities that revolve around trial experience. This role will require you to use your skills and expertise to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.

• Providing legal advice and guidance on various legal issues
• Representing clients in court proceedings and trials
• Preparing and drafting legal documents such as contracts, wills, and other necessary legal documents
• Conducting legal research and gathering evidence
• Ensuring the legality of commercial transactions and advising clients on their legal rights and obligations
• Negotiating settlements for legal disputes
• Complying with all legal standards and regulations
• Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
• Communicating with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case
• Conducting legal research and analysis of legal problems.
• The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of employment.
• Proven trial experience is necessary.
• Strong ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for legal and business environments.
• Excellent negotiation skills are required.
• Must demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Must be detail-oriented and exhibit strong organizational skills.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in corporate law is preferred.
• Must have a strong ethical and professional conduct.
