MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant years of experience in privacy and data protection law (in-house/authorities/ law firm)
- University graduatein Law(LLM) or equivalence
- In-depth knowledge of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, e-Privacy Directive, AI Act and other local privacy laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and international environment.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with OneTrust or similar privacy management tools.
- Experience with working in a multinational corporation or law firm.
- Familiarity with privacy issues in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain etc.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously,in an efficient manner
- Organizing skills and capacity to manage projects remotely (e.g., via e-mails, calls etc.)
Responsibilities:

- Provideexpert legal advice on privacy and data protection laws, including EU and UK GDPR,e-Privacy Directive, AI Act and other relevant regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintainprivacy policies and procedures.
- Conduct data privacy impact assessmentsand provide adviceon privacy and data protection matters such as data subject rights, privacy maturity assessments, client audits and AI matters.
- Advise on data breach response and manage incident investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsand various stakeholdersto ensure privacy compliance in all business operations.
- Draft and negotiate data processingagreements and other privacy-related contracts.
- Monitor and analyze changes in privacy laws and regulations, and update company policies, templates and contracts accordingly.
- Conduct training and awareness programs on privacy and data protection for employees.
- Represent the company in privacy-related regulatory inquiries.
