MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant years of experience in privacy and data protection law (in-house/authorities/ law firm)
• University graduatein Law(LLM) or equivalence
• In-depth knowledge of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, e-Privacy Directive, AI Act and other local privacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and international environment.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with OneTrust or similar privacy management tools.
• Experience with working in a multinational corporation or law firm.
• Familiarity with privacy issues in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain etc.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously,in an efficient manner
• Organizing skills and capacity to manage projects remotely (e.g., via e-mails, calls etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Provideexpert legal advice on privacy and data protection laws, including EU and UK GDPR,e-Privacy Directive, AI Act and other relevant regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintainprivacy policies and procedures.
• Conduct data privacy impact assessmentsand provide adviceon privacy and data protection matters such as data subject rights, privacy maturity assessments, client audits and AI matters.
• Advise on data breach response and manage incident investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsand various stakeholdersto ensure privacy compliance in all business operations.
• Draft and negotiate data processingagreements and other privacy-related contracts.
• Monitor and analyze changes in privacy laws and regulations, and update company policies, templates and contracts accordingly.
• Conduct training and awareness programs on privacy and data protection for employees.
• Represent the company in privacy-related regulatory inquiries.
