JOB TITLE

Counsel
For our Latin American Legal team, we are seeking a Senior Counsel who will be responsible for providing legal counsel to company management and other clients. Initially focused on the Argentine and Uruguayan business, but with the ability to grow and support other businesses throughout the Latin American region as well.
This position will be responsible for supporting ongoing contractual and regulatory issues demands from the business unit, this includes providing expertise in dealing with large volumes of work and interacting with teams from other disciplines, in country and abroad. It also requires identifying and resolving legal issues, and implementing solutions after conducting research and analysis, consistent with corporate policies and best practices.

1) Educational background.

• Bachelor’s degree in law

2) Requirements.

• Four to eight years of relevant experience for the role . Experience at a corporation is preferred.
• Knowledge of: Contracts, comercial law, taxes.
• Excellent end-to-end generalist problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize issues and analysis
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple teams.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision to bring projects in on time
• Proven high-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide analytical and consultative direction.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English.
