Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Attend to helpline calls, referrals, and emails, providing emotional support and identifying the needs of help-seekers
  • Provide help-seekers with information on social support services available at other organisations if necessary
  • Update the counselling team on incoming help-seekers and referrals
  • Input and manage relevant data from calls, emails and referrals into the Client Management System
  • Extract, collate, and analyse of data when required from the Client Management System
  • Coordinate general and board meetings for the board of directors
  • Write and/or vet minutes of general and board meetings
  • Maintain records of board membership for reporting purposes
  • Facilitate the orientation of new board members
  • Support the grant application and data required for approved grantsAny other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as required by the organisation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVES)

  • Adaptable in interaction with help-seekers
  • Bilingual (English and Chinese)
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Familiar with Google and Microsoft Workspace applicationsAt least 2 years working experience, preferably in the Social Service sector

  • Provide administrative, operational and logistical support for Centre and its programmes
  • Identify the needs of clients based on client interactions
  • Support linking of client to counsellors
  • Support counselling team’s engagement and partnerships with other organisations to meet the needs of clientsSupport the implementation and execution of funding initiatives and grants
