Job Title: Counsellor – Employee Assistance Programme
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time and part-time options available, with a mix of office and remote working
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working model)

OVERVIEW:

Compass Associates is excited to be recruiting for experienced Counsellors on behalf of a leading Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide immediate emotional support to individuals across a variety of sectors, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing. Working within a hybrid model, you will deliver support via a 24/7 helpline and have the opportunity to take on structured therapeutic sessions once post-probation.
As part of a highly supportive team, you will be guided by a team of experienced managers and clinical experts, ensuring the highest standards of care for clients in distress. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in counselling (non-negotiable).
A minimum of 150 hours of adult counselling (this can include qualification hours).
Level 4 Counselling Diploma or equivalent.
BACP Registered (or equivalent membership: NCPS, IACP, UKCP, BABCP, COSCA).
Experience managing suicidal ideation and trauma cases.
Must be within a reasonable commuting distance to Manchester.
Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
