Responsibilities:

The individual selected for this position will serve as a Senior Counterintelligence Officer. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Managing CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex.
• Working closely with senior level management at the FBI and the USIC to coordinate ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities.
• Serving as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility.
• Becoming an effective liaison with executive level scientific counterparts within DOE complex to proactively mitigate CI threats and ensure timely identification of CI issues.
• Providing CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.

Qualifications:

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Q clearance.
• Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a senior level Counterintelligence Officer or Agent conducting complex CI program activities as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at the DOE, the FBI or the DOD.
• Must have broad management experience to commensurate with managing Counterintelligence personnel and programs.
• Must have excellent liaison abilities, oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with executive level personnel within the US Government, US Intelligence agencies, and with members of the scientific community.
• Possess functional computer literacy and be proficient in common computer and network applications.
• Position requires an individual to have earned a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.

• 20 years of experience
• An advanced degree is desirable.

Equal Pay Act: This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
