Description
The role of the Country Business Lead (CBL) is to ensure the successful launch and commercialisation of the customer’s lead product. The CBL will be responsible for achieving the business objectives in their geography. The CBL will be expected to create the country commercial strategy, deliver the tactical execution, and ensure drug availability and access for the geography in order to deliver on the agreed sales targets. The CBL is the point of contact for all commercial customer targets across their geography and a key ambassador for our customer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for your country/countries of responsibility that will deliver agreed sales targets. The plan will outline critical success factors and strategic initiatives from which tactical plans will be derived and executed
  • Monitor performance to KPIs as per Syneos Health and our customer’s agreement
  • Develop and manage annual budgets to support the country plan
  • Navigate complex national, regional and local healthcare environments and appropriately influence policy and funding to enable access and rapid availability of the product for eligible patients
  • Contribute and document interactions through the CRM system
  • Understand, respect and abide by all local rules and regulations pertaining to pursuing pharmaceutical activities
  • Act with integrity and ensure all customer-facing activities will be documented and comply with the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations compliance principles and national codes of conduct
  • Adhere to our customer’s internal compliance policies and procedures that will provide the framework in which to work ethically at all times

Requirements

  • Educated to Degree Level (BSc) minimum, MSc, desirable
  • Full Valid Driving License
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Sales, Account Management or Healthcare Development Management at a national or regional level
  • Experience in the launch and commercialisation of Oncology therapeutic drugs in geography
  • Thorough understanding of the National Healthcare System in the relevant countries of responsibility
  • Experience in dealing with market access and payors in the geographic area
  • Track record of performance and delivery to sales and market share goals
