Description:

Position Overview: The Country Head of Media for theAsianparent Indonesia will be responsible for leading the media strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing theAsianparent as a key player in the digital and content marketing landscape. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the media industry in Indonesia.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in digital media and custom content sales.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, content marketing, and the media landscape in Indonesia, including video, mobile, social, display, programmatic, and experiential marketing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build excellent rapport with strategic decision-makers.
  • Experience in identifying innovative opportunities and closing deals with a solution-based approach for clients, agencies, and partners.
  • Ability to conceptualise and deliver creative integrated solutions.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently while being open to direction and guidance.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth and Sales Management:
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets within defined margins through managed and programmatic sales streams.
  • Leverage theAsianparent’s products and solutions to establish new business and retain existing clients.
  • Lead a team of salespersons to achieve sales targets and increase deal sizes.
  • Drive lead generation and manage relationships with agencies, government, and direct clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop deep, strategic relationships with new and existing clients to position theAsianparent as a trusted partner.
  • Serve as a solutions consultant and advisor to clients and key decision-makers.
  • Attend marketing events and seminars as a representative of theAsianparent.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Drive the strategic planning process, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, campaigns, social media, client services, ad operations) to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and share best practices.
  • Understand the media landscape in Indonesia and identify industry opportunities to add value for clients.
  • Growth Team Management:
  • Manage the overall growth team of theAsianparent, including app management, engagement, social media, CRM, and how to leverage all those channels to work together and achieve business objectives.
  • Define Growth team objectives and develop a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze customer data to gain insights into behavior and preferences and apply data-driven insights to optimize Growth strategies.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track KPIs and campaign performance.
