ABOUT YOU

  • We are seeking an experienced, results-driven leader with a passion for innovation and business growth. You will bring:
  • A technical background complemented by strong commercial expertise, or vice versa.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in selling technical products or solutions to industrial clients.
  • A proven track record in managing and growing a business, with a focus on sales and customer engagement.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including team development and performance management.
  • A strategic mindset paired with a practical approach to operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law and experience in contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire both customers and teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Country Manager, you will have full responsibility for the strategic direction and operational management of the Irish business. Reporting directly to the executive board at the group’s headquarters, your role will encompass sales, service delivery, and customer-focused initiatives, while driving sustainable growth in revenue and market share. This role demands a visionary yet hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance strategic oversight with operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share across Ireland.
  • Strengthen sales channels, focusing on direct sales and building strategic partnerships.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead the development of tailored sales strategies.
  • Expand and maintain the customer base while ensuring top-tier service and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals.
  • Optimise operational processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Oversee financial performance, managing budgets, revenue targets, and cost structures.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing initiatives to support sales growth.
  • Align local strategies with global objectives in close collaboration with the group’s headquarters.
