Description:

UNCAGE YOUR AMBITION AS ACOUNTRY MANAGER

We are FlightHub Group, an ambitious team of people that created FlightHub and Justfly. Our brands have grown to become two of the top-ranked travel agencies in North America. We now serve over 3 million customers per year, totaling 3 billion dollars in sales, and, whereas the pandemic may have slowed us down a little, we are coming back even stronger. We dream big, pursue passionately, and follow through with resolute self-belief and rigorous commitment. We are a group of individuals sharing a common vision and values, having come together to pursue a collective mission: overtaking the #1 spot in the world.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our growth in the US market. Working closely with our c-level executives and senior management, the ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive country strategy, aligning with global objectives and ultimately leading marketing initiatives, sales, and driving growth factors.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all operations within the country, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in marketing, sales, customer service, and product management;
  • Driving local marketing initiatives, tailoring campaigns to the unique needs of the market;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and user experience for the local market;
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges;
  • Developing and driving sound recommendations based on insights derived from data analysis;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including partners;
  • Managing and developing a high-performing local team while continuously improving collaboration with other internal functions.

Critical Competencies:

  • Hands-on Leadership: The ideal candidate is capable of stepping in and actively engaging with any function within the team when necessary, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the daily operations and driving outcomes through hands-on support.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills are essential, with experience in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights. Proficiency in MySQL is a plus.
  • SEM Knowledge: Familiarity with SEM is advantageous, as it is a critical marketing channel for the country. The candidate should understand the fundamentals of paid search and campaign optimization to oversee SEM strategy effectively.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills are required, with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of strategic objectives.

There are many moving pieces to our puzzle - if you have past experience in the travel, tech, or e-commerce industry with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Please note this position is in Montreal, Quebec and on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all operations within the country, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in marketing, sales, customer service, and product management;
