WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally within operations, finance, or debt collection.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving financial and strategic success.
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian business regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing large teams (70+ employees) and working effectively within a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with internal teams, external partners, and government bodies.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead Alektum Group’s servicing operations in Norway. In this role, you will have the overall responsibility for the daily management, strategic development, and P&L performance of Alektum AS. You will work closely with support functions and the broader Alektum Group organization to ensure smooth operations and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daglig Ledelse (Managing Director): Oversee daily servicing operations of Alektum AS, and ensure board decisions are implemented.
- P&L Responsibility: Manage the financial performance of the Norwegian servicing operations, with regular reporting to the head office.
- Financial Oversight: Handle company accounting and work closely with auditors.
- People Leadership: Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams to achieve business goals.
- Workplace Environment: Ensure a positive work environment, collaborating with Employee Representatives and the Work Environment Committee (AMU).
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Strategic Growth: Drive Alektum AS’s growth in Norway, analyzing market trends and identifying new opportunities in collaboration with Sales.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key internal- and external stakeholders, i.e. Group Functions, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
The Country Manager Servicing Norway reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and the position is located in Oslo.
