Description:
The Spotsylvania County Attorney’s Office is seeking to fill a Senior Assistant County Attorney position. The description is expansive, but please note that the successful applicant will be working primarily, if not exclusively, on land use matters including, but not limited to, reviewing planning documents such as subdivision plats, BMP Agreements, etc., as well as more substantive matters such as zoning changes (conditional rezonings and special use permits) and amendments to the zoning ordinance. The successful applicant will also staff meetings of the Planning Commission. The successful applicant will rarely, if ever, litigate, but that experience is always a bonus.
