We are hiring a Couple & Family Therapist to join our team! The Couple & Family Therapist is responsible for providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families as well as youth involved with the youth justice system. The Couple & Family Therapist will also have opportunities to support other programs, including groups, brief services, and outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience working in a clinical setting.
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, counselling or related discipline.
- Registration and good standing with a regulatory college (i.e., CRPO or OCSWSSW).
- Knowledge of various individual, couple and family counselling modalities and evidence informed practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide competent and culturally safe service in a variety of settings with diverse populations.
- Ability to work remotely from home with internet capacity and in the office, as required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including a minimum of two evenings per week.
- Strong computer skills and capacity to work on virtual platforms and client information systems (such as CaseWorks).
- An energetic and welcoming personality with ability to be versatile, flexible and a team player.
- A satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Fluency in second language is an asset.
