WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Business Degree as a minimum requirement.
  • Experience delivering training and assessments for QQI Level 5 or higher in Business-related subjects.
  • Certified in Training and Continuing Education (e.g., Train the Tutor Level 6) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in delivering training for business courses leading to QQI Level 5 certification or higher.
  • Experience providing training in both classroom and remote learning environments.
  • Experience working closely with employers to provide work placements and support learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a training environment effectively.
  • Ability to develop individual learning plans for learners to support their progression.
  • Ability to meet certification targets (KPIs).
  • Strong IT and report writing skills.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Payroll and Business Administration Tutor is responsible for training and developing learners based on the agreed program specifications. This includes managing daily aspects of the program, sourcing work placements, and supporting learners during their placements by closely working with employers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver systematic training according to the curriculum and maintain accurate records of learners’ progress.
  • Source and support work placements, working closely with employers to ensure learner development.
  • Evaluate learner needs and create individual progression plans, providing regular feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, maintaining records and producing necessary reports.
  • Meet KPIs related to learner progression and certification, while working under the guidance of management and in collaboration with other team members and stakeholders.
