The main purpose of the post is to be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of new family and children related applications.
Court Clerks fulfil a variety of roles during their day and with no two days being the same you will experience an array of work and engage with a broad range of people and court users such as judges, advocates, off-Island barristers, unrepresented members of the public and staff from connected agencies and Government Departments.
Whilst carrying out the role you can also choose to take the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of procedural law in the area of ‘Family’ practices and processes. You will also get the opportunity to experience the wide ambit of the other court work dealt with in the office in the criminal and civil arenas when clerking and administrative cover is required.
Do you have excellent attention to detail, high levels of resilience and possess good interpersonal skills? If so and if any of the above sparks an interest in the role then why not join us working in our challenging, highly interesting and rewarding High Court Family Team.
