JOB SUMMARY:
Perennial Properties is seeking an active-duty Fulton County Officer to join our team as a Courtesy Officer. This position offers a rental discount of 50% in exchange for providing essential security and community services. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, and committed to enhancing the safety and wellbeing of our community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be an active-duty Fulton County Officer.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare thorough reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle situations calmly and effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a continuous log of events and prepare incident reports for major occurrences.
- Patrol the community for a minimum of 60 minutes once every 24hour period, or more frequently as deemed necessary by the Community Manager.
- Prepare daily written reports of incidents or activities.
- Conduct monthly inspections of exterior lighting and provide written reports on findings.
- Secure common or amenity areas at the Community Manager’s request.
- Assist or accompany management staff when serving legal notices or inspecting units during eviction proceedings.
- Take action to calm disturbances observed or reported to the office.
- Inform management of any unusual or suspicious activity that may violate community policies or laws.
- Respond to any other reasonable security related requests made by management.
- Provide a cell phone for accessibility and keep it on their person while on duty.
- Conduct oneself professionally and avoid fraternizing with residents.
- Contact local authorities for any situation involving a breach of laws.
- Report or check in with the Community Manager daily. If unable to do so, notify the Community Manager in advance.
- Attend resident functions, when possible, at the request of the Community Manager.
