DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

  • Évaluer les besoins en assurance des clients.
  • Identifier et analyses les produits d’assurance disponible sur le marché.
  • Préparer des demandes d’assurance complètes et solliciter des soumissions auprès des compagnies d’assurance.
  • Négocier les termes et conditions des polices d’assurance avec les assureurs.
  • Réviser et analyser les soumissions.
  • Préparer des analyses comparatives détaillés des différentes conditions obtenues.
  • Veiller à ce que les polices soient émises correctement et en temps opportun.
  • Fournir des conseils à vos collègues sur le placement d’assurance.
  • Se tenir informé sur les produits d’assurance disponibles et l’évolution du marché d’assurance.
  • Participer aux différents événements de l’industrie.
  • Recommander des stratégies de placement, des nouveaux produits ou de nouvelles couvertures aux collègues.
  • Entretenir de bonne relation avec les assureurs afin de créer un avantage concurrentiel pour HUB.
  • Optimiser nos relations d’affaires avec les assureurs par l’entremise du réseautage, cocktails, déjeuners rencontres, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assess clients’ insurance needs.
  • Identify and analyze available insurance products on the market.
  • Prepare complete insurance applications and solicit quotes from insurance companies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with insurers.
  • Review and analyze quotes.
  • Prepare detailed comparative analyses of the various conditions obtained.
  • Ensure policies are issued correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Provide advice to colleagues on insurance placement.
  • Stay informed about available insurance products and market trends.
  • Participate in various industry events.
  • Recommend placement strategies, new products, or new coverages to colleagues.
  • Maintain good relationships with insurers to create a competitive advantage for HUB.
  • Optimize business relationships with insurers through networking, cocktails, breakfast meetings, etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • College diploma and license from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in damage insurance.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Strong experience in placing commercial insurance policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of damage insurance products and markets.
  • Bilingual (French/English).
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office environment.
  • Knowledge of EPIC software is an asset.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clients’ needs and insurance offers.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability outside traditional office hours (9 AM to 5 PM).
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Hybrid mode: 3 days per week in the office.
