The Manufacturing manager is a pivotal role within our manufacturing facilities and works with a team of associates on the production line to bring our brands to market. The qualified candidate will be an excellent multi-tasker and should have previous experience coaching and motivating associates in a production environment.

What You’ll Do for Us: you will play a pivotal role in managing the operator’s team and overseeing the plant’s operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient production processes while adhering to GMP, Food Safety, Safety, Lean Manufacturing, and TCCQS standards. You will drive continuous improvement, spearhead digital transformation initiatives, and define capital expenditure requirements with a focus on automation and data acquisition. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure efficient plant operations, meeting volume and productivity goals and production schedules.
  • Facilitate manufacturing activities in accordance with GMP, Food Safety (HACCP), and Food Defense standards.
  • Monitor and address food safety risks and changes in the manufacturing process.
  • Supervise personnel to maintain food safety/defense and overall workplace safety.
  • Strive for KPIs achievement, including POR, TDQ, Productivity, OEE, IL, LTI, WUR, EUR.
  • Identify and address safety, quality, environmental, and food safety/defense risks and opportunities.
  • Promote OE tools and engage in continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for manual and automated processes; ensure organizational knowledge.
  • Lead the transition to automated systems and promote data management within the plant.
  • Execute and motivate the Performance Enablement process for operators.
  • Define development plans for operators and conduct routine performance reviews.
  • Participate in capacity analysis for compliance with manufacturing schedules and future resource planning.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure proper equipment maintenance and minimize downtime.
  • Define and validate projects promoting automation and data acquisition; collaborate on new equipment validation.
  • Train manufacturing associates in activities related to Food Safety/Defense, TCCQS, and OE.
  • Contribute to packaging and kit design for new products and analyze the impact of new product introductions.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; Engineering or other technical fields are preferred.
  • Fluent in English (written, listening, and oral).
  • Proven experience in plant operations, with a focus on manufacturing and production management.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, Food Defense, Safety, Lean Manufacturing, and TCCQS standards.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and develop a team of operators.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address safety, quality, and process improvement opportunities.
