Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents, including those with dementia. The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that medication administration is conducted safely and accurately.
SKILLS
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management is essential.
- Strong nursing background with knowledge of care plans and medication administration practices.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- In-depth understanding of senior care needs, particularly for individuals with dementia.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate approach towards caring for the elderly, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring they meet their specific needs.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
- Ensure effective medication administration procedures are followed, maintaining accurate records at all times.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
- Liaise with families, external agencies, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care services.
- Implement training programmes for staff to enhance their skills in dementia care and other relevant areas.
