Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year post secondary office administration program or equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory
  • Recent admissions/ registration and appointment scheduling experience
  • Experience working in a computerized office environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in computerized registration and bookings software and keyboarding is essential
  • Must have working knowledge of medical terminology and spelling expertise
  • Accurate keyboarding skills are essential
  • Must be client focused
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of client and clinicians on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work
