Responsibilities:
IAAC is seeking individuals interested in one, or more, of the following areas of expertise:
Corporate Services
- Administration (CR, AS, PM streams) positions provide administrative support to IAAC and/or programs lead by IAAC.
- Communication (IS stream) positions provide strategic and proactive communications services to help the Agency in its ongoing dialogue with staff and Canadians.
- Finance (CT-FIN stream) positions provide procurement, accounting, planning and reporting, and resource management services for IAAC.
- Human Resources (PE stream) positions provide expert advice and support to ensure the achievement of the Agency’s priorities and objectives.
- Information Technology (IT stream) positions provide technical support and innovation for IAAC.
Procurement (PG) positions are responsible for acquiring goods and services needed by federal departments and agencies, ensuring that purchases are made in a fair, transparent, and cost-effective manner while supporting government priorities like sustainability and economic development.
Operational, Policy and Indigenous Relations Services
Economics and Social Sciences Services (EC) positions provide a wide range of functions from IAAC’s ongoing Indigenous consultation efforts; the conduct of research, analysis, development and implementation of new regulations, regulatory amendments, and related policies and guidelines; the development of data strategies, conduct of analytical studies, and development of system design and reporting; or the conduct of research, analysis, and provision of advice and recommendations in areas such as, economic, socio-economic, sociology and/or Indigenous aspects of policies, programs, and projects.
- Physical Sciences (PC) positions provide a range of services such as conducting research, analysis and provision of independent advice, information, recommendations, and reports of, and in support of, IAAC programs; conducting research, analysis, and providing advice and recommendations in environmental aspects of policies, programs, and projects.
