Responsibilities:

IAAC is seeking individuals interested in one, or more, of the following areas of expertise:

Corporate Services

  • Administration (CR, AS, PM streams) positions provide administrative support to IAAC and/or programs lead by IAAC.
  • Communication (IS stream) positions provide strategic and proactive communications services to help the Agency in its ongoing dialogue with staff and Canadians.
  • Finance (CT-FIN stream) positions provide procurement, accounting, planning and reporting, and resource management services for IAAC.
  • Human Resources (PE stream) positions provide expert advice and support to ensure the achievement of the Agency’s priorities and objectives.
  • Information Technology (IT stream) positions provide technical support and innovation for IAAC.
  • Procurement (PG) positions are responsible for acquiring goods and services needed by federal departments and agencies, ensuring that purchases are made in a fair, transparent, and cost-effective manner while supporting government priorities like sustainability and economic development.

    Operational, Policy and Indigenous Relations Services

  • Economics and Social Sciences Services (EC) positions provide a wide range of functions from IAAC’s ongoing Indigenous consultation efforts; the conduct of research, analysis, development and implementation of new regulations, regulatory amendments, and related policies and guidelines; the development of data strategies, conduct of analytical studies, and development of system design and reporting; or the conduct of research, analysis, and provision of advice and recommendations in areas such as, economic, socio-economic, sociology and/or Indigenous aspects of policies, programs, and projects.

  • Physical Sciences (PC) positions provide a range of services such as conducting research, analysis and provision of independent advice, information, recommendations, and reports of, and in support of, IAAC programs; conducting research, analysis, and providing advice and recommendations in environmental aspects of policies, programs, and projects.
