SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years + experience in Crane operations and people management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership abilities to oversee and guide a team of operator, dispatchers, and other personnel
  • A deep understanding of regulations, compliance, and safety standards
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), routing software, and other relevant tools

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce compliance with Chain of Responsibility and all statutory and regulatory legislations
  • Ensure cost efficiencies, safety and achieve the highest level of customer service
  • Closely manage all variable costs associated with running the Crane operation
  • Establish and manage customer relationships with key customers, suppliers and the subcontractor workforce
  • Receive enquiries and tender requests from customers and provide quotations within required timeframes
  • Assist in providing strategic direction to Crane operations and fulfilling strategic obligations
  • Manage staffing levels and overtime
