POSITION OVERVIEW:
Due to continued growth Qube Heavy Lift are looking for experienced Crane Mechanics to join our team based in Chinchilla.
As a Crane and Transport Mechanic at Qube Heavy Lift, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our advanced fleet of cranes and transport equipment. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, contributing to the successful execution of complex lifting and transportation projects. The role will be based out of our Perth facility, with the occasional opportunity to work on projects around Australia.
- This is a residential, DIDO or FIFO role, based in Chinchilla with various rosters available
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on cranes and transport equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
