- An excellent technical understanding of cranes, lifting and material handling equipment and lifting operations, preferably from an operations and maintenance background. You’ll possess extensive experience working in the cranes and lifting sector within offshore wind and / or offshore oil and gas industry.
- A Bachelors Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- Good working knowledge of Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
- Experience in writing and reviewing Lift Plans.
- Previously held the role of Technical Authority (TA) or Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Lifting.
- Experience with heavy lift / major component change outs.
- Ability to pass (or already hold) required medical and offshore safety training. As some infrequent offshore visits to support maintenance and fault-finding activities may be required.
