JOB DESCRIPTION
Works with Deposit and Payment Solutions (DPS) Relationship Manager (RM) to manage assigned customer relationships. The incumbent’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct customer interface, functioning as a liaison with various Bank departments
- Analyzing financial data through RPMS, SalesForce, PowerBI, etc..
- Assisting the Deposit Relationship Manager in preparing proposals
- Identifying customer needs and making appropriate sales and product referrals
- Ensuring accurate and thorough account and product implementation for existing and new clients
Additional Responsibilities include: Applicants should be equipped with strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical abilities, and exposure to financial statements. Excellent customer service skills are essential, and previous customer service experience, particularly in the financial services sector, is preferred. The candidate must be capable of working independently, demonstrating high levels of responsibility and independence. The ideal candidate typically holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and possesses five or more years of related experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate should display exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through and initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational and priority management abilities, and substantial experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. An essential requirement is a banking background with experience in Treasury Management. Responsibilities include overseeing the process for internal BDR meetings, collaborating with the DPS RM and credit RM to strategize for external BDR client meetings, and staying informed about current market/industry news and events. Participation in industry groups such as NAIOP, ICSC, CREW, and AFP is also encouraged. Higher levels have their own assigned client relationships and may also co-manage client relationships.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of depository or treasury management experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Thorough knowledge of deposit products and treasury management services
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through and initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
