Description:

We are looking for a skilled Creative Communications Manager I to join our team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and managing high-quality creative productions, including graphics, desktop publishing, editing, digital media, and web development. This role also involves coordinating design and format for large projects and consulting with users to ensure mission and objectives are effectively communicated. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage high-quality creative productions, including graphics, desktop publishing, editing, digital media, and web development.
  • Coordinate the overall design and format for large projects, ensuring a complete understanding of the production processes involved.
  • Interact with and direct others to achieve project goals.
  • Consult with users to assess project requirements and ensure mission and objectives are communicated effectively.
  • Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information, ensuring high quality of output.
  • Provide art, writing, and editorial direction and guidance to others on projects.
  • Maintain production logs and cost data for project scheduling, budgeting, and billing.
  • Utilize electronic publishing or new media software systems to format, produce, prepare layouts, and revise complex publication materials.
  • Work with print vendors, checking proofs and supervising press runs.
  • Manage the staff and/or the creative production of the organization, overseeing the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of major projects.
  • Proven experience in a management role within a creative communications environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations
  • Proficiency in policy and procedure development and implementation
  • Experience in marketing and promotional activities
  • Ability to handle materials and ensure quality control
  • Experience in documentation and record-keeping
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for team members
  • Knowledge of various production methods and techniques
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning
  • Ability to perform Ad Hoc financial tasks as required
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to act as a liaison between different parties
  • Proficiency in using various workstation support systems
  • Leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Experience in handling billing and accounting tasks
  • Ability to provide consulting services as needed
  • Experience in managing quarterly reports and performance reviews
  • Familiarity with ‘About Time’ project management software.
