The Magic Creative Team is seeking a highly knowledgeable and passionate Creative Lead to act as an open-minded subject matter expert on our IP - collaboratively driving strategy, alignment, decisions, and execution to ensure authenticity in new franchise expressions.
We are looking for a teammate who enjoys navigating new creative questions and challenges, working closely with partners, providing concise and timely feedback, and striving to find innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of Franchise-level creative guides to set business development and external partners up for successfully understanding and celebrating the critical creative foundational elements of the IP.
  • Represent the organization with partners and act as a steward of the creative translation of the Magic IP across efforts, ensuring appropriate creative consistency, integrity, design, and quality, while being open to new creative ideas and opportunities for the IP.
  • Coordinate the review, comments, visual asset deliveries, and feedback in response to submissions from partners. This includes owning relationships and approvals for some licensees.
  • Contribute to the creative strategy driving the development of the IP’s new characters and settings.
  • Maintain creative alignment between Franchise leadership and partners, using your keen judgment and deep knowledge to balance Franchise direction with the unique needs of each new effort.
  • Look for opportunities to amplify creative consistency between TCG product creative development and concurrently developing projects and efforts.
  • Coordinate with external loremasters and internal partners to ensure every content decision is appropriately informed.
