SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Creative Marketing Manager the Creative Marketing and Events Associate will assist the Marketing team in providing marketing support of events, web, and design initiatives for Indica Labs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital art and design, marketing, advertising, film production, communications, or related degree. Experience can substitute for education on a year for year basis
  • Highly organized individual who can quickly adjust priorities to meet changing needs
  • Basic understanding of design software and best practices
  • Portfolio of work
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate should be highly organized, and detail orientated
  • Tech savvy and able to learn new programs quickly
  • A valid driver’s license and everyday access to a reliable vehicle
  • Authorization to work in the United States, or appropriate authorization to work in the applicant’s current home country (Indica Labs, Inc. does not sponsor work visas)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with WordPress, Elementor page-builder or similar CMS/page-builders
  • One (1) Year of Marketing or Communications Experience
  • One (1) year of experience with creative development programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar programs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Design software and best practices
  • A passion for providing superior designs
  • Ability to present completed work and project ideas to the marketing and product management teams
  • Proficient in Adobe’s Creative Cloud - primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Knowledge of alternative ways to inform via written, oral, and visual media
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new programs, technology, and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of email marketing campaign software
  • Effective communication
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or similar file-sharing platform

Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Events Specialist and the Creative Marketing Manager ensures all collateral and appropriate booth materials are included in tradeshow crates/shipping containers in our US office and abroad when applicable.
  • Prints event overviews to send to Field Applications team members to ensure requirements are met for events and ensures a copy is included in every shipment
  • Inventories and distributes marketing materials
  • Organizes recruiting materials for Human Resources and hiring officials to distribute
  • Assists as back up in securing US and European tradeshows, including exhibition services, shipping and material handling, booth spaces, and travel/hotel rooms for booth staff and guest speakers when required
  • Assists the Senior Events Specialist with coordinating user group meetings, including securing a venue, food & beverage, hotel rooms, travel for guest speakers, and attendee registration. Ensures all materials for such events are shipped and required items (such as agendas and nametags) are printed and available
  • Updates and maintains website content including but not limited to digital collateral across both company websites (indicalab.com and learn.indicalab.com), and product specific learning resources such as webinars, tutorial videos, user/admin guides, release notes, and technical documentation (learn.indicalab.com)
  • Coordinates all learning portal materials for product launches and upgrades
  • Manages user registration for webinars and learn.indicalab.com
  • Assists in the creation and management of new web pages, posts, and forms for all company websites
  • Under direct supervision of the Creative Marketing Manager assist in routine site and content maintenance, and various updates to ensure sites align with the goals and objectives of the company
  • Ensures proper portrayal of brand’s image and tone
  • Tests websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices
  • Debugs pages and fixes broken links or images
  • Responds to and resolves web-related requests
  • Collects and analyzes web analytics and similar data using Google Analytics GA4
  • Assists in installing, testing, and launching plugins when required
  • Assists with product video design and production using Adobe After Effects
  • Uses Canva and Adobe CC to assist in the creation of design assets including but not limited to web graphics, videos, presentations, collateral, business cards, and booth materials
  • Assists the Creative Marketing Manager in reviewing internal and external materials for accuracy and brand consistency
  • Optimizes logos for development team, co-marketers, distributors, and conference organizers
  • Assists in the production of product collateral, white papers, case studies, application notes, booth displays, promotional materials (giveaways), and business cards as required
  • Following set templates generates and manages email campaigns using Mailchimp and other email platforms to promote company events, webinars, and newsletters.
  • Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
