Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6 + years of creative project management experience working directly with creative teams spanning graphic design, industrial design, copywriting, video, photo, web, and print with a track record of overseeing projects from concept through delivery.
- 3 + years of experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Adobe Workfront and Airtable.
- Prior experience working with Marketing, Creative, Brand, Product Teams
- Prior people management experience.
- Knowledge of print production processes and familiarity with digital channels.
- Experience working with graphic designers, industrial designers, production designers, copywriters, and structure engineers, including their respective software.
- Experience working with retailers, both in-store and online.
- Strong understanding of optimizing team performance and ensuring efficient project delivery.
- Ability to translate briefs into actionable tasks, aligning projects with strategic goals and creative visions.
- Experience adapting to changing priorities, adjusting workflows, and effectively managing teams through transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery.
- Experience managing outside vendors and freelancers, integrating them seamlessly into the process and team.
- Commitment to staying updated on industry best practices, emerging tools, and trends in creative, marketing, project management, and creative operations.
- Background using Macintosh OS.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Kidde Residential Fire business is seeking a Creative Project Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Creative Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day tasks, workflow, and resources required to complete complex projects. This includes scheduling meetings, setting tasks and timelines, liaising with internal stakeholders, organizing creative teams, and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon goals, processes, and deadlines.
You have a proven track record of managing creative projects from initiation to completion, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation, while consistently delivering high-quality, on-time outcomes. You are a detail-oriented team player with a solution-oriented mindset and a drive for growth.
As part of the Global Marketing department, you will lead your project management arm of the Creative Operations team, creating timelines, managing workflows, and communicating project status internally and with cross-functional teams, including Product, Brand, Media, and Trade Marketing. This position is fully remote within the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and prioritize deliverables and resources across multiple projects based on scope, goals, and deadlines. When roadblocks arise, pivot to find solutions and address potential delays proactively.
- Serve as the central point of communication for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring all team members stay on track with deliverables, providing updates, and troubleshooting timeline risks.
- Communicate directly with internal team members and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery of all creative and design work, including packaging, catalogs, e-commerce assets, signage, industrial design, copywriting, trade show graphics, retailer merchandising, digital graphics, and online marketing.
- Manage external agencies, production partners, or other vendors when outsourced support is required, including print production, photography, videography, CGI renderings, and motion graphics.
- Build strong working relationships across the organization, establishing yourself as a trusted resource and advisor to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with creating presentation decks, reporting on KPIs, and documenting processes as needed.
