Description:

Six Degrees, a Reverba Company, is seeking a Creative Resources Manager. Reporting to the COO, and supporting Six Degrees’ Creative and Production functional area, you are a self-starter, responsible for overseeing the allocation and management of resources for design projects, ensuring that all briefs are properly addressed and processed, and coordinating with both in-house designers and freelancers. This role involves maintaining the organizational and operational aspects of the Creative and Production process, providing training, managing capacity and utilization, and ensuring project budgets are met.

Responsibilities:

Resource Management

  • Holding weekly touchpoints with each member of the team to discuss wins, roadblocks, performance feedback and goals/target progression
  • Setting performance expectations and targets with direct reports, and providing coaching and feedback about performance and career progression
  • Overseeing and assigning resourcing, scheduling, and timelines across the Creative & Production team, reviewing and providing input on utilization reporting
  • Assessing and allocating new brief requests to designers by considering their skill sets, capacity, timing, preference, and current workload
  • Attending weekly resourcing calls to ensure all projects are adequately resourced, and to flag/resolve resourcing conflicts/issues as they arise
  • Overseeing project freelancer and vendor management, including freelancer and vendor identification, outreach, scope/briefing and budget discussions to support billable projects and RFPs

Monday.com Maintenance and Communication

  • Ensuring the Monday board is kept up to date by following up on briefs that have not progressed and removing dates from unresponsive briefs
  • Ensuring the Monday board matches the C&P calendar, and designer time holds correspond to current work
  • Conducting weekly group and 1:1 discussions with designers around resourcing, workload, accommodating drop-ins, rush work, and shifting priorities. Flagging any capacity issues to the broader team
  • Maintaining open communication with designers to ensure a managed workload and effective use of freelancer support

Utilization & Budget Monitoring

  • Collecting and analyzing designers’ weekly billable hours breakdown, monitoring productivity during downtime and general busyness
  • Reviewing budgets for C&P hours to ensure they are reasonable based on the scope
  • Contribute to SDM’s Employee Experience by setting a positive leadership example as a leader who embraces SDM vision, mission, and values
