THE CANDIDATE MUST DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College or University degree preferred but not required (preferred in Business or Finance).
  • CCP designation or enrolled in the program
  • Minimum 2+ years of adjudicating commercial and consumer credit
  • Up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – additional experience with advanced Excel tasks (such as programming) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Microstrategy) preferred.
  • Bilingual in French - written and spoken (nice to have).
  • Familiar with SAP system is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and makes decisions on credit related inquiries.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior analyst and management on credit/risk management strategy and operations.
  • Responsible for monitoring high areas of risk for the organization, providing delinquency trend analysis, escalating credit issues, and reducing exposure for the organization
  • Responsible for consistent review of credit policy, identifying areas for improvement, and effectively communicating changes to management.
  • Actively contribute in process improvement initiatives, review of existing processes, and developing a cohesive risk reduction methodology
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure the timely AR collection, due diligence on accounts, and optimizing working capital ratios
  • Subject matter expert in credit master data
  • Support other AR projects and initiatives
