Based in our North Sydney office, we are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst – Asset Finance, to focus on assessing consumer and commercial applications for assets including motor vehicles, motorbikes, leisure assets along with various plant and equipment and general business assets.

  • Ensure that risk and customer credit worthiness is assessed in accordance with Pepper credit policy
  • Approval of activities in accordance with delegated authority;
  • Deliver own agreed goals and objectives aligned to Asset Finance strategy;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to credit systems, processes, policies and reporting

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Based in our North Sydney office, we are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst – Asset Finance, to focus on assessing consumer and commercial applications for assets including motor vehicles, motorbikes, leisure assets along with various plant and equipment and general business assets.

  • Ensure that risk and customer credit worthiness is assessed in accordance with Pepper credit policy
  • Approval of activities in accordance with delegated authority;
  • Deliver own agreed goals and objectives aligned to Asset Finance strategy;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to credit systems, processes, policies and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you’ll:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in consumer and commercial lending.
  • Have held a previous Designated Lending Authority of $100K or above and have the ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for credit and operational risk assessment.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of Equifax, NCCP, PPSR, AML/CTF & Privacy Act Legislation
  • Deliver high quality work whist maintaining turnaround times.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to help customers succeed and make a difference to their lives.
  • Be a team player and form part of the existing positive department and company culture
