ABOUT THE JOB

My client is high-tech powered growing finance service provider in South-east Aisa. They are hiring a senior professional with strong experience in credit risk assessment and credit approval.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Evaluate SME loan applications by reviewing financial statements and developing credit approval processes and systems.
• Supervise daily credit operations, including SME loan onboarding and portfolio monitoring.
• Establish and maintain a credit risk management framework to ensure adherence to the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and revise credit policies, manage product program schedules, and assist in launching new products and business initiatives.
• Formulate policies for loan origination, underwriting, and risk-based pricing for SME and retail lending.
• Continuously monitor risk profiles and industry trends, analyze portfolio performance, and recommend credit risk strategies.
• Participate in stress testing of credit portfolios and collaborate with teams on relief programs and new projects.Act as a backup for large corporate and Treasury credit analysis tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SME loan credit approval and independent credit assessments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Statistics.
• Strong analytical skills with effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, with expertise in credit risk and collections scorecards.
• Experience with portfolio monitoring tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint, PySpark/SQL) and familiarity with decision engines like PowerCurve is advantageous.
